Taccia's Ukiyo-e collection of inks is inspired by the rich colors depicted in Ukiyo-e paintings and woodblock paintings from Japan's Edo Period. Hokusai Katsushika was a leading Ukiyo-e artist, whose works featured landscapes that frequently depicted Mt. Fuji as part of the scenery. While these fountain pen inks are great for writing, they are also meant to be used for drawing purposes.

The ink is beautiful and unique. It turns from a hue of blue to rust green upon drying. Good flow, nice sheen, great shading!
Gorgeous color, lovely sheen is goldilocks level not too sheeny, not too subtle. Ink flow and performance reminds me of Iroshizuku inks. It is my first Taccia ink and I am impressed. I will be looking at the rest of their line
Really nice color.
This ink is a lot of fun. It goes on as one color and dries as something different, like Iroshizuku Ku-jaku. It's interesting to watch it dry.
There is high level of sheen that comes out red in the most saturated areas.
Can't wait to try it in a broad or stub nib.
