The LILIPUT Ballpoint Pen - Copper. This Liliput ballpoint pen is a copper edition to the Kaweco Liliput series. The streamline design is based off of the Liliput fountain pen design, which is one of the smallest fountain pens in the world. Available in different metals, the ballpoint pens in the Liliput series come in a variety of weights for those who prefer a lighter instrument or those who like to write with something a bit heavier. The copper Kaweco LILIPUT ballpoint pen is made from copper with a lustrous and polished finish. However, it will patina with use, allowing it to gradually become your unique writing instrument along with your writing journey. This pen is a click-action ballpoint pen. The pen is slightly smaller than its fountain pen counterpart measuring at 3.75in (9.5cm).

About Kaweco:
Kaweco is a manufacturer of writing instruments based in Heidelberg, Germany. It was founded in 1883 as Heidelberger Federhalterfabrik and later renamed to Kaweco. Kaweco has a long history of making dipping pens, pocket-sized fountain pens, fountain pens and nibs.
It is a functioning click ballpoint pen. The use of copper as the design material was the attractor for me. I think it is a great pen to throw inside a mini journal setup just to always have a writing instrument nearby, but I’m not sure how else it can best serve - maybe as something to keep in the pocket if you sign a lot of documents by hand during the day?
Dislikes: the pen is too small, too light, ink is so so-nothing special, and it doesn’t work with the Lilliput clip.
As a side note, I also bought the fountain pen version with the cap. It is roughly the same size but I enjoy using it much more. The deal makers for me on the fountain pen version are the nib quality and the ability to use it with the foldable converter.
