Kaweco Sport Fountain Pen - Collectors Edition - Toyama Teal.

Along the coast of Toyama, Japan – the namesake for this new and unique Collection variant – the water is illuminated by a mysterious blue sheen on spring nights. This rare and spectacular phenomenon is called "bioluminescence" and is caused by a certain species of squid. Thousands upon thousands of points of light perform a captivating spectacle upon the water surface, and are mimicked by the high-quality plastic of this fountain pen. Depending on the particular light irradiation, the pearly green pigments sparkle more or less intensively. The overall design is completed with silver accents and color-matching packaging that is reminiscent of the shimmering waves of water.

Capped, the pen is about 4 inches long, and when uncapped and writing, with the cap placed on the backside of the pen, the pen is lengthened to be about 5 inches, giving it a comfortable size and balance in the hand. With Kaweco’s signature octagonal pen barrel, the fountain pen sits easily in your hand when you are writing and are able to lie flat on a desk without rolling around. In the store, when we are asked to recommend a starter fountain pen, the Kaweco Sport fountain pens are one of the pens we always suggest you try out.
