Shuinandong, along with Jinguashi and Jiufen, is part of a trio of former mining towns in New Taipei City. These towns are embodiments of Taiwan's mining heritage, each showcasing distinctive aspects of the mining era. The Taiwan's Secret Land Series from Ink Institute are four chromatic and color-changing inks inspired by the hidden scenery in Taiwan, including Dalupalringi, Lavender Coral, Shuinandong Smelter, Shuiyang Forest.
