This mechanical pencil combines the wonderful qualities of both the Kuru Toga and Alpha Gel shaker mechanical pencils!

The Alpha Gel feature gives a comfortable and squishy grip section while the Kuru Toga feature ensures that the lead in your pencil always stays sharp and maintains a consistent lead point. This technology works with you as you write by gradually rotating the lead from within every time you lift your pencil from the paper. The eraser is protected by a charming little clear cap and the lead can be advanced using the clicker at the top of the pencil.

This was my first Japanese mechanical pencil

The first time I got this "comfortable and precise plus the kuru toga feature! Wow!"

I gave it away to my aunt but every now and then I still think about it.

Instead of reordering it I bought all 4 colors of the uni alpha gel switch because it looks more masculine and it feels/looks much more durable.

"Yeah but is it worth the purchase?" I've got 2 $400.00 0.5mm Montblanc mechanical pencils and I still think about it dude.
