Takeo Paper Products - Mottainai Memo - French Marble

Takeo Paper Products - Mottainai Memo - Ingres Color.

"Mottainai" originally means "what a waste!" in Japanese, but soon became a popular expression reminding people to cherish and upcycle natural resources or products before they go to waste. The Mottainai Memo is inspired by this concept, and with that in mind, a collection of discontinued but beautifully produced paper had then been curated by Takeo Paper Products. Each memo block contains three types of fine paper, and is being produced in limited quantities due to their availability on the market.

The Ingres Color paper is released in 1953. It is inspired by the Ingres paper, a grained drawing paper favored by French painter, Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres.
