Pilot S5 Drafting Mechanical Pencil. The S Series Drafting mechanical pencils include S3, S5, S10, S20 and S30. The pencils in the S Series have the same body shape and compatible components. At higher lines in the S Series, the components are swapped with better materials and more sophisticated mechanism to provide a different design.
The S5 shares the same body as S3, and the main upgrade is the rubber grip. Similar to S3, it is a great beginner level drafting mechanical pencil. It comes in colorful plastic barrels with rubber grip. The color is bright and the case is slick. Lead advance is precise and the pencil offers not only a good start for professional drafting use.
