MD Notebook by Midori, a Japanese company that specializes in paper since 1960. Other than the small embossing of MD Paper, the notebook is simplistic and perhaps plain. Midori wants to emphasize the quality of the paper and your writing experience. The pen glides on the paper, and the paper does not bleed, ghost and feather. The touch and feel of the texture of the paper and the cover cannot convey through picture. We encourage you to come try them out in person with us.

Love this notebook for fountain pen, and it’s been good for gel pen too. Haven’t tried pencil yet but it seems like it would be good paper for pencil too. And I like this size—good for taking places.

Great for Gel pens

I've been using these for a little over a year now and I'm a huge fan of the size and the pages. I love that I can stick this along with my avec in one cover, it makes it super convenient to have a planner and journal in one. I wouldn't use this with extra fine fountain pens since it likes to act a bit weird and not consistent all the time (It could also be the ink you use). Using medium nib fountain pens and any gel pen works perfectly though. I like the freedom of the blank so I've gone through 5 of these already. The customizable clear covers is also a plus.
