A real lifesaver

I easily forget where things are unless I have a place to keep them. I have the standard Apple earbuds, both lightning and audio jack and rely on them a lot. However, I am not a fan of silicon earbud organizers as I notice they tend to discolor and peel over time. Perhaps because wired Apple earbuds are so easy to obtain, I normally lose/ damage them ~ 2-3 times a year. It sounds frivolous, but having nice cases has reduced this frequency.

I purchased the cases in black and brown so I could easily differentiate earbud jack type based on the case's color. The cases snap shut with a satisfying sound and feel. They are surprisingly compact despite having enough room inside that one doesn't need to coil the earbuds tightly. As I only use Apple for wired earbuds, I cannot comment on compatibility with other brands.

My main quibbles with these cases are:
1) It's pretty easy to scratch the fake leather with something as soft as a stray fingernail
2) The hinges in the back can become crooked if they are closed improperly.

That said, it's been well over a year since I bought these. The outer material is durable and still looks good (No peeling/ discoloration, no denting to the cases themselves). They make it easy for me to find my earbuds in purses, bags and pockets while also allowing me to cleanly store my earbuds in utility cases. For the price, I'd say they are a great deal.
