Yamamoto Paper Sanzen Tomoe River S Writing Pad - A5 - Plain

Yamamoto Paper Sanzen Tomoe River S Writing Pad - A5 - Plain.

Brought to you by Yamamoto Paper, these fountain-pen-friendly writing pads come with some of the most popular or discontinued paper among the pen community. The binding of this paper pad is glued on the top and will allow you to tear off the paper effortlessly. Included is a sturdy double-sided underlay, with 12mm rule and 6mm grid.

The Sanzen Tomoe River Paper(Tomoe River Paper S) is the successor to the original Tomoe River paper by Tomoegawa. Tomoe River paper is famous for its smoothness and thinness. A common notebook typically uses paper at the weight around 80g-100g, comparing to Tomoe River at only 52g. Even though the paper is thin, it's famous for handling fountain pen ink very well. The paper shows excellent ink properties such as sheen and shades, and has really minimal bleed through despite it being light-weighted. The Tomoe River S has been known to have very subtle differences compared to the Tomoegawa(Old) Tomoe River Paper, and Yamamoto Paper has included both types of paper in this Writing Pad series for fountain pen lovers to try them out.
