The Caran d'Ache Fixpencil was created in 1929 with the desire for a mechanical pencil to be able to write like a pencil without sharpening or having to replace your pencil all the time. 2.0mm is width of the core of a typical pencil, so you can write comfortably with this clutch mechanical pencil without having to worry about breaking the lead. Additionally, the hexagonal shape of this Fixpencil was also designed to feel similar to a wooden pencil in your hand. The clutch mechanism allows the lead to slide out when the knock is pushed to adjust the lead. Pull off the top cap of the pencil, insert your pencil lead in and twist to keep your pencil lead sharp.

  • 2.0mm lead
  • Clutch mechanism allows lead to slide out
  • Sharpener in top cap of pencil
