The Pilot Iroshizuku series is inspired by colors found in the beautiful natural scenery of Japan. The name Iroshizuku is a combination of iro, meaning "color" and shizuku, meaning "droplet" creating an image of colors dripping onto a page.
Hotaru-bi is a bright chartreuse color with warm yellow hues inspired by the soft light of fireflies on a summer evening. Each Iroshizuku ink comes in an elegant, handblown glass bottle with a detailed dip for your fountain pen nib to rest easily in while filling.
