Nagasawa Kobe Ink No.79 Tamon Kakitsubata. One of the finest places to see flowers in Kobe is Tamon-ji Temple in Tarumi, a temple founded by Master Jiraku in the Heian period. Master Jiraku is said to have brought over 3,000 Kakitsubata (rabbitear iris) back with him when he returned from a journey to China, and planted them here. This mild purple ink has the same color as the Kakitsubata in the temple.
