The Bow & Tie series is covered with the same textured, shiny fabric used in neckties. The gloss and soft touch of the material makes this series stand out from other Weeks books. This version begins in April 2022, just in time for the beginning of the Japanese school year.
Dandelion Pappus is designed after the familiar puffs that float across the spring sky. The fluffy texture is created in detail through the embroidery of the necktie material. Just as a dandelion takes flight from its firmly planted roots and lightheartedly sets off on a journey to gracefully follow the wind, this techo is great for turning over a new leaf. The dandelion-filled cover is dotted with puffs—called pappus—and the occasional bright yellow flower. The cover has been constructed as a light, hardcover book with some give to it so it still bends.
This weekly-edition Hobonichi Techo is a compact book that’s easy to carry everywhere. The book is slim and roughly the size of a long wallet, making it easy to fit into a bag or suit pocket. The main layout of the book consists of a weekly calendar on the left page and blank graph paper on the right page. Each weekly spread also contains the characteristic Hobonichi quote in Japanese on the bottom of the page. Although slim at first glance, the book holds 71 graph-ruled memo pages for note-taking at the end of the book. The Weeks is available with a variety of different cover designs on the book itself and does not require an additional cover purchased separately.
When you order this Hobonichi Techo Weeks, you’ll receive a clear, adhesive corner pocket you can stick anywhere you like.
