This A6-sized Techo Planner cover is made from a beautiful textile from the venerable fabric brand Liberty Fabrics, founded in 1875 by Arthur Lasenby Liberty. Poppy Forest is an intricately drawn design bursting with poppies and daisies in full bloom. The colorful textile will energize you with all its colors, including orange, pink, and blue. This cover is made with Liberty Fabric’s own "Tana Lawn" material, first developed in the 1920s: a meticulously processed cotton fabric with a soft, silken feel that offers prints in vibrant colors.
This original form of the Hobonichi Techo has been loved by many users since its introduction in 2002. Its daily pages offer plenty of space to fill despite the book’s compact A6 size. The graph paper offers an open layout for you to neatly lay out writings, clippings, and drawings.
The graph paper in the English version is slightly enlarged to 4 mm to allow users to write comfortably in any language. Timelines are simplified to a single 12 to denote noon so users can completely customize it to their own schedule (or ignore it completely), and each day is also labeled with the number of the consecutive week that year, from 1 to 52.
The Hobonichi Techo includes quotes specially chosen from its parent site, the Japanese web magazine Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun. Each daily page has a quote in English.
The book contains several sections that are great for schedule management, such as a yearly calendar, monthly calendar, and yearly index page. The back of the book includes useful and informational pages, such as blank memo pages, an address book, a page for drawing out a custom graph, a list of useful links in Japanese, and more.
