Leuchtturm has released their 2024 newest color series, including Apricot, Lobster, Sky, and Ink. These vibrant colors are sophisticatedly selected by Leuchtturm. And not only because each color would harmonize perfectly with one another, but also the colors altogether represents an invitation for pen-users and creators to re-think about the details surrounding us everyday.

This contemporary, matte-finished ballpoint pen from Leuchtturm1917 comes with a great variety of gorgeous color options. Its name, "Drehgriffel", actually means "rotary stylus" in German, which refers to the pen's special twist-and-retract mechanism. The spring-loaded mechanism will automatically retract the pen tip with just an effortless twist. The main portion of the pen body is crafted out of precision-milled aluminum, which greatly reduces the weight and making it easier to be carried around. The brass tip then adds some precise weight to the tip of the pen, giving it a lower center of gravity and making it more comfortable for longer writing sessions. These elegant pen designs also match the beautiful colors of the Leuchtturm1917 Hardcover Notebook series.

  • Retractable ballpoint pen tip
  • Hexagonal pen body made out of aluminum and brass
  • Blue ink
  • Ballpoint pen refill available in M or B
  • Gel Ink Pen -  2024 New Colors also available
  • Dimension: 5.1 x 0.4 in (13 x 1 cm)

About Leuchtturm1917:

Leuchtturm, founded in 1917, takes pride in thinking of every aspect of their notebooks' design. To them, "Details make all the difference". Originally known for being the largest stamp and coin album manufacturer in the world, Leuchtturm quickly became well-known for their wide range of colorful notebooks, especially in the bullet journalling community. Each one includes many details to enhance your writing: page numbers, thread-binding, two bookmarkers, a gusseted pocket, acid-free paper, perforated pages, a table of contents, and sticker labels. Leuchtturm believes that with these added features, writing by hand can be an experience. Today, Axel and Max continue on the tradition of this fourth generation family business, creating quality writing materials with detailed design.
